Codifer, Inc. developed Bonnabel Place subdivision. Their office was located at 1905 Metairie Road during the 1950s. Alfred Bonnabel developed the subdivision from land (called the Bonnabel Plantation) he had inherited from his father, Henri Bonnabel. Bonnabel Place subdivision, first planned in 1914, is bounded by Metairie Road, Lake Pontchartrain, Hesper Avenue and Homestead Avenue. (Courtesy of the Jefferson Parish Yearly Review.)
