This little neighborhood restaurant holds a special place in my heart because when our son was a young
boy he and his friends would occasionally walk there for lunch with only change in their pockets. They'd pool their
money and split an order of fried rice. They seldom had enough change left for even the smallest tip but they were never
turned away and always welcomed graciously. I got'ta love a place like that.
For old times' sake -- at the entrance, the old Singer tiles.
The dark (at lunch time) but very comfortable interior.
Moo goo gai pan.
Boneless Fried Chicken
Pretty good hot and sour soup, cabbage overloaded egg rolls, boneless
fried chicken and moo goo gai pan not worth writing home about but all in all a really nice little place with lighting quick
lunch service and very reasonable prices ($8.49 for two including -- horrors -- iced tea with free refills). We'll be
back.
